Thomas McGregor, Team Exclusive Management Inc. / Dairy Queen, No. 7

The 20-year old McGregor is making his first St. Pete start this weekend.

"I feel pretty confident coming into this weekend, sitting fourth overall in the championship. This is a big weekend where we need to collect some points, both for the team and for the individual championships.  I am anticipating that there will be a large field this weekend so it will be very important to stay out of the carnage and qualify in the top five. This will be my first time on the St. Pete street course.  I am confident I will adapt to the track quickly. I feel that my engineer, Adam Schaeckter and I are really starting to gel.  I know he and the rest of the Andretti Autosport team will give me a great car to work with.  I am looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead."

Shelby Blackstock, Team Starstruck, No. 8

A 22-year old Nashville native, Blackstock is also making his St. Petersburg debut.

"The race this weekend will be my first street race, so I'm looking forward to it. I have always wanted to race through the streets of a city and since we have a huge field, it will be full of action and qualifying will be extremely important. I can't wait until the end of the week when we can get on track for practice."
