Quotes -

#5 Aaron Telitz, Rice Lake Weighing Systems:

“The #5 car felt really good today. It’s nice and consistent. The first session I was learning the track, and at the halfway point I got comfortable and went harder at it. I wanted to see how things felt and we ended up second in the session. I’m looking to build speed this weekend. In practice two, I had some decent speed early. The car developed a bit of a push, and I kept driving to make laps. We’re looking to make some changes for tomorrow in qualifying. We finished in sixth, not too far off the lap times from first, so things are looking good.”

#24 Peter Portante, Intercity Lines, Inc.:

“We had an interesting start of the day for practice at St. Petersburg. We’re having a little bit of difficulties with the car but I don’t see any reason why we can’t get it fixed for qualifying tomorrow morning. We know what the problem is, so it’s just getting it out and fixing it, and then we should be pretty well on pace.”
