John Cummiskey Racing traveled to the 2.4-mile, 14-turn Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course for Rounds 5 and 6 of the Team Cooper Tire USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda series season.

Cape Motorsports has won five of the first six races in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda with their talented rookie driver Oliver Askew sweeping this past weekend’s event on the road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to extend the streak.

Team Pelfrey, with drivers Robert Megennis, Kaylen Frederick and Ayla Agren, rang in the month of May with Frederick leading the team to a Race Two podium finish at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

The 20-year-old from Jupiter, Fla., captured his second win in as many days on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Grand Prix road course – and his fifth in six starts – to strengthen his claim to the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda and, potentially, a second consecutive Mazda Scholarship

The Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda staged Rounds 5 & 6 of the year at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over the weekend as part of the Verizon IndyCar Series’ Grand Prix of Indianapolis weekend. The event kicks off the classic ‘Month of May’ as the motorsport world revs up for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 in two weeks.
