Thomas McGregor, Team Exclusive Management Inc. / Dairy Queen, No. 7

This will be McGregor's first time racing at Mid-Ohio as part of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda. He is currently fourth in the point standings. 

"We are coming into this weekend sitting a respectable fourth in the championship because of some solid top ten finishes.  It has been a decent start to the year, however myself and the team are hungry for podium finishes and better yet wins.  I have been training harder than I ever have at the gym and doing everything (off track) to prepare myself the best I possibly can for this weekend's upcoming races.  The team has also been working hard to get more out of the car.  The result we had at the Road America test was a good indication of the effort everyone has been putting in.  I feel that we are pointed in the right direction.  I can't thank the entire Andretti Autosport organization enough for all of their support and faith in me this year. I want nothing more than to bring two podium finishes to them after this weekend's races at Mid-Ohio and move up in the overall points championship."  

Shelby Blackstock, Team Starstruck, No. 8

Blackstock will be racing at Mid-Ohio for the first time and is currently 10th in the USF2000 National Championship point standings. He most recently raced in the Brickyard Sports Car Challenge at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Grand-Am Continental Tire Series, where he finished 12th. 

"I am very excited to get to Mid-Ohio to start the race weekend. We were pretty fast during the open test and I hope the speed continues. I know that my Andretti Autosport team has been working very hard on the car in the two months since we have last raced. Wish us luck!"
