SHEBOYGAN, Wis.  - With the goal to compete in the Verizon IndyCar Series one day, Max Peichel is set to continue his motorsports program in the Mazda Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires. Joining Arms Up Motorsports, Peichel is set to contest the remainder of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda beginning at Road America in less than two weeks.

"I am excited to have Max back with our program," explained Arms Up Motorsports team owner Gregg Borland. "Max was with us at the Indy Grand Prix and consistently improved throughout the weekend. Scoring his best result with a top 10 in race two, he was motivated and I think he will be a great fit with our engineering and driver development programs."

"I really enjoyed working with Arms Up Motorsports at the Indy Grand Prix," explained Peichel. "The team was incredibly helpful and we made tremendous progress throughout the weekend. I am looking forward to working with them and continuing my development over the remainder of the season."

With a series test scheduled June 11 and 12 at Road America, Peichel will join Arms Up Motorsports and Mazda Motorsports scholarship winner Keith Donegan for two days of testing. Donegan is coming off a solid sixth place result in his oval debut at Lucas Oil Raceway and Borland is confident that the momentum can continue at Road America.

Borland continued, "Keith is really coming into his own and I think with a consistent teammate, they both will benefit and find themselves at the front of the grid. Road America is the home race for Arms Up Motorsports as well as Max, so we would like nothing more than to make our partners, crew, followers, friends and families happy with some solid results."

With Peichel now confirmed for the remainder of the 2018 season, he will continue promoting the work of Starkey Hearing Foundation by displaying the logo on his car and fire suit. For more than 30 years, Starkey Hearing Foundation has been dedicated to bringing hearing health care to those in need around the world.

The foundation provides complimentary hearing aids to people around the world, empowering them to achieve their full potential. Starkey Hearing Foundation has active programs in more than 100 countries and has provided more than 1.1 million people with hearing health care services. An estimated 5 percent of the world's population - 432 million adults and 34 million children - have disabling hearing loss with the greatest prevalence in low and middle-income populations. Starkey Hearing Foundation is working every day to expand the access to hearing health care.

Arms Up Motorsports will hit the track on Monday for the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda Series Test on June 11 and 12 at Road America. Taking part in their home event on June 21-24, Arms Up Motorsports, Keith Donegan and Max Peichel will be aiming for the top step of the podium in rounds six and seven as they compete alongside the Verizon IndyCar Series.
