Bogle 2019 Announcement
CARMEL, IND. Continuing with their 2019 driver announcementsJay Howard's Driver Development program (JHDD) has re-signed Christian Bogle for the 2019 racing season. In a major effort in open-wheel formula car racing, Bogle will contest both the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda and Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship programs in his quest to climb the motorsports ladder.

"Christian has made tremendous progress since joining our team. He started with us this past summer and has made major strides in his development. I expect him to keep doing the same in 2019," explains Jay Howard. "He has a huge passion for racing and is dedicated to the sport. We have enjoyed having Christian on our team and look forward to pulling double duty with him next year in both F4 and USF2000."

Joining Jay Howard's flourishing program at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex at round ten of the 2018 F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda, Bogle completed the season seeing action at New Jersey Motorsports Park and alongside the Formula One World Championship at the Circuit of the Americas.

"I am extremely happy with my decision to join the JHDD program midway through the 2018 F4 season last year," adds Bogle. "Although I only participated in the last three races of the season, I gained very valuable experience as this was my first experience in open wheel racing. I was able to learn so much from Jay and his team on car setups, car control, and overall improvement of my race craft. I am really excited to have a seat in Jay's 2019 F4 and USF2000 race teams. This extra seat time by running two series will accelerate my learning curve and allow me to advance my racing career."

Howard, who is a multi-time Indianapolis 500 starter continues, "We have a pretty intense testing program planned for the off season and Christian will take part in most of it. Working hard to learn the fundamentals of both the F4 and USF2000 machines, Christian will gain experience and speed with each passing test and event weekend and we can't wait for the first green flag of the 2019 race season."

While Christian is the third driver confirmed for the Jay Howard's Driver Development F4 program, he is the first confirmed entrant for Howard in the Road to Indy program.
