DAWSONVILLE, GA – VRD Racing proudly announces that Max Taylor will participate in the full USF2000 Championship in 2024. After showcasing his potential in a couple of USF2000 races in 2023 and achieving notable success in USF Juniors last year, Taylor is set to take on a new challenge in one of the most competitive junior racing series in the U.S.
"Max stepping up to USF2000 is a natural step and a no-brainer," said VRD Racing’s Dan Mitchell. "He showed great potential towards the end of the season with a win in Juniors and top-10 finishes at the USF2000 season finale in Portland. We expect Max to be a strong contender for podiums right away, and a consistent string of results will see him as a title contender and that's where we need him to be."
Taylor's recent achievements in both USF Juniors and USF2000 have established him as a promising driver in junior motorsport.
"After an amazing 2023 season, I will take what I learned and apply it to be a championship contender in 2024," said Taylor. "Dan has built a top tier team with the best driving tools on the grid to get the job done and win races. I am thrilled to be back with VRD."
Taylor has been a part of the VRD Academy for a few years and has taken part in a GB3 testing program with VRD over the off-season. Taylor will seek to carry this momentum into the 2024 season as he will visit some of the most rigorous tracks in North America with VRD Racing.
