JHDD One Cure 2020

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) is delighted to announce that they and One Cure will continue to raise awareness for cancer treatment breakthroughs during the 2020 racing season.

One Cure is a project led by the Flint Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University, and the program is founded on the principle that cancer affects all creatures and that treatment breakthroughs come through collaboration between scientists and doctors working with people and animals.

“Everyone at One Cure is delighted to continue our association with Jay and his team,” commented a One Cure spokesperson.  “Jay has shown so much belief and passion for what we do, and having that mentality is so important for us because that’s how we raise awareness for what we are trying to achieve.  We are so proud of Jay and his team, and we are looking forward to seeing JHDD and One Cure back on the podium in 2020, both on and off the track.”

Team owner Jay Howard has a long-standing relationship with One Cure dating back to his days as an IndyCar driver, and having the ability to raise further awareness for the program via his race winning JHDD squad is special for numerous reasons.

“I’ve had the pleasure of representing One Cure for a number of years now, initially as a driver and now a team owner,” outlined Howard. “Being an animal lover, I really feel a strong connection with the program and it’s important that we continue to highlight the fight against cancer.  It’s also heartening to get the youngsters (drivers) engaged with such a program, as not only does it help One Cure, but it also teaches them lessons about representing big organizations that they no doubt will have to do when they make it to the top level of the sport.”

The One Cure branded JHDD teams are set to get their seasons underway in the spring.  The Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship blasts into action on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida, March 13-15, while the F4 U.S. Championship Powered by Honda kicks-off at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Georgia, April 9-11.
