Rookie Florian Latorre ended his inaugural season sixth in the USF2000 Championship driver standings, while JAY Motorsports came home eighth in the team standings, despite being a single-car outfit.

"It is a shame that only one of our drivers could claim the championship – they both deserve it," said team owners Dominic and Nicholas Cape of Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing.

Over 200 people, including 30-plus drivers, were on hand to take part in the ceremonies which recognized the future stars of open-wheel racing and the teams that allowed their talents to shine.

French rookie Alex Baron captured his second victory in four races, while fellow first-year series stars Wyatt Gooden and Brandon Newey both added top-five finishes in the season-finale doubleheader.

The Championship class rookie ended the year fourth in the title fight, while PRL Motorsports secured sixth in the team standings.
