PALMETTO, Fla. – Analytic Systems has signed on as title sponsor for the pair of Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda races to be held during the Honda Indy Toronto. This will be the series’ first foray into Canada since the former Cooper Tires Formula Ford 2000 Championship last visited the Exhibition Place circuit in 2006. A field of 30 drivers will contest the Analytic Systems USF2000 Grand Prix of Toronto on July 13/14. The weekend will feature the full Mazda Road to Indy contingent with the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and Firestone Indy Lights also supporting a doubleheader IZOD IndyCar Series event.

Analytic Systems is a leading high performance power conversion manufacturer based just outside Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in the city of Delta. In business for over 30 years, Analytic Systems is currently ranked fifth on the “Business in Vancouver” list of the biggest BC alternative energy companies. Its products include battery chargers, voltage converters, DC/AC inverters, power supplies, frequency converters and MPPT solar charge controllers for key markets including the military, rail and transit, commercial marine, telecommunications and oil and gas.

“We are very excited to welcome Analytic Systems as the title sponsor of the Canadian rounds of our championship,” said Dan Andersen, Owner and CEO of Andersen Promotions, the series promoter. “Toronto is a first-class, high-profile event. We were thrilled to be able to add this weekend to our schedule, and now proud to go there with a leading and innovative company headlining our races.

“This will be a fantastic weekend of racing for the fans with doubleheader rounds in USF2000, Pro Mazda, the IZOD IndyCar Series and Pirelli World Challenge as well as Round 8 of Firestone Indy Lights. And, with 10 Canadian drivers in our series, the fans will have plenty of fellow countrymen to cheer on.”

In addition to a VIP suite for entertaining, Analytic Systems and their guests will participate in a variety of activities over the race weekend including roles as honorary starters and podium presenters, and receive exclusive paddock tours, meet-and-greets and dinners with series drivers. All 30 cars on the USF2000 grid will carry Analytic Systems branding throughout the three-day event.

“Analytic Systems has a long history of supporting motorsports in North America, particularly in the Sports Car Club of America,” said Jim Hargrove, President of Analytic Systems. “We are very excited to be moving up to professional racing by partnering with Dan Andersen and Andersen Promotions to be the title sponsor of the USF2000 series at the Honda Indy Toronto – the first time the series has come to Canada since 2006. This is a great opportunity for us to network with our partners in an exciting and vibrant setting.

“We are very pleased with how Dan and all the staff at Andersen Promotions are organizing an experience that our partners will remember for years to come.”

The Analytic Systems USF2000 Grand Prix of Toronto will kick off on Friday, July 12, with a pair of practice sessions followed by qualifying. The green flag for Race 1 will fly at 9:55 am on Saturday, with Race 2 scheduled at 11:35 am on Sunday.
