Shelby Blackstock, Team Starstruck, No. 8 Blackstock will start seventh in tomorrow's USF2000 National Championship race at Road America. This is his first time racing at the course in this series, after winning there in Regionals with Skip Barber.
"Today went okay for our Andretti Autosport team. We qualified seventh, which I am not overly happy about. However, it rained a lot today and I know my guys have been working hard, so hopefully we can do well during the race. We are going to watch some of the video footage and look at data. We'll make a small change to the setup of the car and hopefully we'll have a better result tomorrow."
Thomas McGregor, Team Exclusive Management Inc. / Dairy Queen, No. 7
Due two red flags, McGregor got four qualifying laps in and will start ninth for tomorrow's first USF2000 National Championship race at Road America. He ran as high as seventh in morning practice.
"I am pretty happy with how qualifying went today. I would have been sixth had the red flag come out thirty seconds later than it did. The car feels great and the Andretti Autosport crew is working hard. I can't thank them enough for all they're doing and look forward to both races tomorrow."
