Shelby Blackstock, Team Starstruck, No. 8
Blackstock finished fourth in today's third and final USF2000 National Championship race from Road America. This was his highest finish so far this season and second top-five in a row following fifth at Mid-Ohio.
"Today's race went very well. The Andretti Autosport team had a good car under us. If there had been a yellow flag, I really feel we could have gotten on the podium, but that's racing. I want to thank my crew for giving me a strong car and working extremely hard this whole weekend. Hopefully we'll go to Baltimore and have some strong finishes."
Thomas McGregor, Team Exclusive Management Inc. / Dairy Queen, No. 7
McGregor started today's race from the 25th position and had advanced all the way to 11th. He was caught up in an accident with six minutes remaining and finished 21st.
"Today was a disappointing finish for me and the team. The team gave me such a great, fast car this whole weekend, but unfortunately we didn't get the results we were hoping for. I started 25th in today's race and had advanced up to 11th, when I was taken out of the race. I can't thank my Andretti Autosport team enough for their hard work. I would also like to thank my family for all of their support this weekend. We are all working very hard off the track, so I know the positive results will come. I am looking forward to moving on to Baltimore."
