Shelby Blackstock, Team Starstruck, No. 8

Blackstock will be racing at Virginia International Raceway with USF2000 for the first time. He tested there last week, where he ran as high as fourth in the first session. This is their final race weekend of the 2012 season.

"Going into Virginia International Raceway, I feel sad that the season is coming to an end. However, I am happy that we're finishing up at one of my favorite tracks. I hope the weekend goes well and that everyone drives smart. I'm ready to finish the season with my Andretti Autosport team on a good note." 

Thomas McGregor, Team Exclusive Management Inc. / Dairy Queen, No. 7

McGregor will be racing at Virginia International Raceway for the first time as part of the USF2000 Championship. He ran as high as fourth in the afternoon test session last week. Aside from the series, he has been nominated for the Team Canada Scholarship. If chosen, he will represent Canada at the Formula Ford Festival in England this October.

"I am looking forward to the last round of Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship with Andretti Autosport. Going into the weekend, I feel confident because we were fast there during the test. I really want to get a good finish for the end of year in order to have something to work off of for next year."
