Plymouth, Wisc. - Seems like it was just last week when the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda kicked off in St. Petersburg, Fla., but this coming weekend will be the final event of the 2018 season.

Concluding at the Portland International Raceway during the Portland Grand Prix weekend, ArmsUp Motorsports will enter Dakota Dickerson and Max Peichel as the three rungs of the Mazda Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires will crown champions in Oregon.

"It has been an up and down season for us but in the end, we have worked through it all and really shown the strength of our organization," explained Gregg Borland. "We gained a lot of momentum in the last half of the season and had some great results. We hope to continue that this weekend on the West Coast, and onwards into the upcoming 2019 season."

The driver lineup will remain unchanged for the multi-faceted race team as Dakota Dickerson and Max Peichel will aim for podium results.

"I am looking forward to Portland," expressed Peichel. "I am happy to be back back in the ArmsUp Motorsports car with the support of PureCrop1. The ArmsUp team has really been supportive and I have learned a lot this year.  I am looking to finish strong and prepare myself for 2019. I will continue to support good hearing and the Starkey Hearing Foundation.  We will be passing out ear protection courtesy of the Foundation to continue to bring awareness of the impact of loud noises on hearing."

"I'm really excited for the finale of USF2000 in Portland this weekend," added Dickerson. "You look at the progress we've made as a team throughout the back half of the season and it's undeniable that we have the pace to run up front. The guys at ArmsUp have given me an opportunity of a lifetime and I'll be looking to pay them back with a pair of wins! It's going to be a bittersweet weekend knowing this will be our last event together this year but I'm excited for what the future may hold."

Following the Portland Grand Prix, ArmsUp Motorsports will return to their Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin shop and begin preparations for the annual Chris Griffis Test and 2019 racing season. Taking place September 22 and 23weekend, ArmsUp Motorsports has openings for two drivers to participate in multi-session test on the road course of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
