Multi-time karting champion and formula car race winner ready for Indy test next week
Looking to continue to ascend the motorsports ladder, American Caleb Gafrarar will test with Pabst Racing next weekend. Set to make his USF Pro Championships, USF2000 and Indianapolis Motor Speedway debut, Gafrarar is working hard to earn a spot on the championship-caliber program for the 2025 season.
“I am looking to make the most of my opportunity,” explained Gafrarar. “I don’t come from a family with a ton of money, so we have been working very hard to put this together. A good test could be the key to a full 2025 program, and only time will tell.”
A veteran from the karting world who has earned race win after race win and championship after championship, Gafrarar was a race winner in the Skip Barber Formula Race Series in 2023 and earned many podium results throughout the season. Looking to gain additional experience, the young American traveled overseas to race in the United Formula Ford Championship, scoring solid results, including a race win in his first event at Lydden Hill. Trying to stay in front of team owners as much as possible, Caleb has been driver coaching in karting, racing whatever he can, and visiting events with helmet in hand.
Gafrarar added, “I am pushing hard and know I can succeed. I can’t thank everyone who has made my USF2000 test possible, and to do it with a team such as Pabst Racing is incredible.”
With a two-day test on October 19 and 20, Caleb will take on the 14-turn, 2.439-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course for six important test sessions. Stay tuned to the Caleb G Racer social media pages for news, information, photos, and results from Indy.
Caleb would like to thank Bell Helmets, Molecule, Racing Electronics, Offset Sport, Minus 273 and Circle K for their continued support.
