Carel is onboard for rookie USF2000 season in 2025
Timothy Carel will join Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) for the full USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire 2025 season. Leveling up from USF Juniors, Carel will continue his winter test program before 2025 welcomes a complete 18 rounds of racing across eight tracks throughout North America.
“After a season of USF Juniors, I’m confident that I’ve learned a lot through Jay to prepare me for this upcoming season,” explained Carel. “I’m sure that together we can keep moving forward and challenge for the USF2000 title.”
With his eyes set on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES as a long-term goal, Carel will level up on the USF Pro Championships ladder in 2025. Sticking with his familiar JHDD program that helped him succeed in USF Juniors, Carel is ready for a new challenge this coming season. In his rookie season in the popular ladder program, Carel accomplished seven top-10 results as well as a top-five finish at VIRginia International Raceway.
“Timmy had a great learning year in USF Juniors with us,” added Team Owner and former INDYCAR driver Jay Howard. “He displayed pace all season long. He has transitioned quickly into the USF2000 car, and we have high hopes for the upcoming season.”
