After sampling the program in 2024, Illinois driver primed and ready for new challenge
BROWNSBURG, IN – Exclusive Autosport is thrilled to announce the return of 18-year-old Evan Cooley for a full campaign in the USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire series, which is the middle step of the development ladder system in the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire. Cooley will represent Exclusive Autosport, driving the #90 Exclusive Autosport Brown Brothers Harriman Tatuus USF-22.
In 2024, Cooley raced in the USF Juniors program and finished 13th in the championship, posting three top-five and seven top-10 finishes. Evan also stepped up to gain experience in the USF2000 competition and promptly qualified on the pole for both races at the Indianapolis Grand Prix in May, where he eventually finished third in Race 1. He also notched a fourth-place finish on the challenging streets of Toronto, which will bode well for the opening rounds of the 2025 USF2000 Championship at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
“I’m excited to be able to announce that I will be competing with Exclusive Autosport for the 2025 USF2000 season,” enthused Cooley. “Coming off a strong couple of races in USF2000 last year, I’m confident we will be competing up front for race wins and the championship. I can’t wait to get on track next week at NOLA and finalize our preparations for the 2025 season. I want to give a big thank you to my parents, Michael and Kimberly Duncalfe and my sponsors for their support!”
Cooley began his career karting at the Autobahn Country Club in 2021 and added testing in both a Spec Miata and a Radical SR3 with Team Stradale to his development program in 2022. Cooley’s karting program continued alongside his car program in 2023, adding the Margay Ignite Challenge to the local Autobahn program as well as several Radical Cup starts. He also graduated through the Lucas Oil Racing School program to get a taste for open-wheel formula car competition, which set the stage for a focused USF Juniors and USF 2000 testing program with Exclusive Autosport. Cooley made his official USF Pro Championships debut at the Fall Combine at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in October of 2023 and was at or near the top of the charts all weekend.
“I’m honored to welcome back Evan Cooley as he takes the next step in his career and advances to the USF2000 series,” said Michael Duncalfe, Co-Owner and CEO. “Evan is a phenomenal talent who has always demonstrated raw speed from his first test with us. He has been working incredibly hard over the last year and a half to refine his craft. He will, without a doubt, be a championship contender this season. I am excited to have the privilege to work alongside Evan and watch him grow and work towards achieving his goals in this sport. 2025 is going to be an exciting season.”
