INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing (SFHR) has announced Drive Planning as its returning primary sponsor with an expansion of programs for both 2024 USF2000 Presented by Continental Tires and the 500 Sprint Car Tour.
Also returning to the SFHR team are associate sponsors Hartman Oil, Alderson Commercial Group, Chick-Fil-A, Direct Supply, Integrated Wealth Strategies, Elite Performance, Kelly Landscaping, Intrago, Rayco Machine, Racecraft1, K1 RaceGear, Metal Fabricators Plus, Whiteland Raceway Park, Business Art & Designs, Speedway Indoor Karting, 524 Events and Speedway Customs.
Elliot Cox will be behind the wheel of the No. 67 SFHR entry for all 18 rounds including two rounds at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in conjunction with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, May 10-11.
“Drive Planning, as a firm, is excited to enter into another year of racing,” said Todd Burkhalter, Drive Planning CEO and Founder. "We are looking forward to the continuation of our partnership with Elliot and welcome SFHR's Sprint Car teammate, Kyle O'Gara."
After his rookie year in USF2000 competition, Cox demonstrated the drive it takes for success both on and off track. "I'm so grateful to partner with Drive Planning again this year," said Cox. "Being a part of their strategy of executing a plan for success, has been a tremendous opportunity for me to meet many of their team and guests who have undoubtedly become racing fans as a result. I can't wait to see a sea of orange in the stands at St. Pete."
Starting the 2024 season already at Showtime Speedway in Pinellas Park, Fla., Kyle O'Gara led all 125 laps of the Dave Steele Championship. "I am very happy to welcome Todd and the Drive Planning team to the short track side of SFHR. An early trip to victory lane was a great way to kick off our relationship," said O'Gara. " Our goal this year is simple: win races and chase our first championship."
After an extensive commitment during the off season, team owner Andy O'Gara is looking forward to being on track. "I am beyond excited to have Drive Planning back with SFHR for the 2024 race season. I can't thank Todd, Gerry, David and all the Drive Team enough, we couldn't ask for better partners! Their continued belief in our team, our family and specifically our drivers is outstanding. They understand what it means to grow and are big picture people as well, that's special," says O'Gara. "We have worked extremely hard over the off season as a team, from on track testing, built up back up cars, an overall increase in R&D and added personnel. In addition to our new dedicated race shop, it has been a very productive winter. We are confident 2024 is going to be a successful year!"
Pre-season is already underway with a test at New Orleans Motorsports Park, with the season officially starting this week. Rounds 1 and 2 will be held in St. Petersburg, Fla. on the 1.8-mile, 14-turn street circuit in conjunction with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season opener.
