Charlotte, NC — Danny Dyszelski will make his open-wheel Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship season debut this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala.

Having just turned 14 years old, the South Carolina native will be the youngest driver in the field, driving for Jay Howard Driver Development.

“I’m excited to get to Barber for my first USF2000 race,” said Dyszelski. “It’s a really technical track that is the most challenging I’ve been to so far.” Unable to race in the first event of the year due to age, Dyszelski is eager to join the highly competitive field in USF2000.

Dyszelski comes to the series after a successful 2021 racing campaign that was highlighted by wins at USPKS, WKA, and the KA100 Jr Stars Championship.

Since the age of 4, Dyszelski has been actively competing at the national level all over the USA. He raced sprint-style karts at all major karting series including USPKS, SKUSA, ROK Cup USA, WKA and more.

Dyszelski earned his NASA Competitive license in January 2022 and has been competing in Spec Miata races.  Beyond racing the remaining USF2000 schedule, He will also be competing in nine NASA NP01 Prototype races this year with Iron Will Racing, including the NASA championship event at Laguna Seca.
