JHDD Green 2019

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) is delighted to announce that young American standout, Josh Green, will make his Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship debut with the team at the upcoming Grand Prix of Portland, August 29 – September 1.

Green currently sits second in the US F1600 Championship and will team up with Christian Bogle and Christian Rasmussen, who has won two out of the last four races for the JHDD squad.  It’s exciting times for the young American from Mount Kisco, NY, who also recently found out that he has been selected to compete in the Team USA Scholarship shootout early next month.

“I’m extremely excited to get to work this weekend!” said a thrilled Green. “Being my first time in the car at a new track, it’ll be a huge learning curve and I’m confident I’ll learn a massive amount with a team as prestigious as JHDD. I can’t wait to figure out what this new car likes from both an engineering and driving standpoint, as well as speaking to, and learning from, as many new people as possible. I can’t thank Jay Howard and JHDD enough for the opportunity.”

Team-owner Jay Howard is equally keen to see how his new recruit fits in with his race winning outfit.  "I am excited to have Josh join our team for Portland.  I have watched Josh in karting and F1600, and he has always been fast and won races.  It will be fun to watch him take the next step in his career, and he will be a great addition to our team."
