ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) is set to kick off its 2025 USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire campaign this weekend on the Streets of St. Petersburg, racing alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and INDY NXT by Firestone. The team enters the season opener with a strong driver lineup across USF2000 and USF Pro 2000, eager to build on past success at the prestigious street circuit.
JHDD’s USF2000 roster features Liam McNeilly, Brad Majman, Timothy Carel and Anthony Martella, while Frankie Mossman and Tanner DeFabis will represent the team in USF Pro 2000. The USF Juniors category will officially begin its 2025 season when the championship joins the rest of the USF Pro Championship Series at NOLA Motorsports Park on April 10-13.
JHDD had a strong showing at St. Pete in 2024, securing a second-place and a third-place finish in USF2000, and the team is aiming to add to that success this year. The 2025 season opener will see a tight schedule, with one practice and one qualifying session for each class on Friday, followed by the first USF2000 race later that day. Saturday will feature the first USF Pro 2000 race and the final USF2000 race, while USF Pro 2000 will conclude their weekend with a final race on Sunday morning.
"St. Pete is always an incredible way to start the season," said Team Owner and former NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Jay Howard. "The street circuit is a great test for our drivers, and we have a talented group ready to take on the challenge. We’ve had strong performances here in the past, and we’re looking forward to fighting at the front again this year."
