Zach Holden and Ayrton Ori return to team to close out season

LEBANON, Ind. - Fresh off a podium result two weeks ago at the Portland International Raceway, Legacy Autosport is prepared for this weekend's Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship season finale.

Taking place at the famed WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California, Zach Holden and Ayrton Ori will pilot a pair of Legacy Autosport prepared machines in their quest to continue the results as of late.

"We had a good weekend in Portland but are hoping for an even better one in California," explained Legacy Autosport's Mike Meyer. "Ayrton gained a ton of experience and improved each and every session. His progression will continue through the off season and he should be a contender come 2020. Zach was able to drive his way to a podium performance and left Portland with momentum. He should challenge at the front of the field this coming weekend."

Entering the finale event weekend of the season, teams and drivers will be put to the test. With the one and only thirty-minute practice session taking place Friday morning before qualifying for race one that afternoon, competitors will need to get up to speed quickly to give themselves the best shot throughout the weekend.

Meyer added, "It is a new facility for everyone including the teams and the drivers. No team has an advantage over the other with track knowledge, extra testing or setup information. We have thirty minutes to figure it out in practice, and then a pair of qualifying sessions that will set the grids for race one and two. Ultimately, I believe that some teams will continue their testing into qualifying."

Following the event weekend, Legacy Autosport will return back to Indianapolis and immediately begin preparations for the 2019 Chris Griffis Memorial Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With a pair of USF2000 cars available, Legacy Autosport also has the ability to run additional drivers over the two-day test weekend.
