Canadian rookie aiming to improve on St. Pete results

LORRAINE, Que., Canada – It is the second event weekend in the USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires program and the second event in the state of Florida this month for French Canadian Louka St-Jean. Racing out of the Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) program, St-Jean will look to build upon his St. Pete results as he heads to the bumpy Sebring International Raceway.

“I wanted to race again the minute the checkered flag flew at the first event in St. Pete,” expressed St-Jean. “I love the sport, and I am learning with each passing lap. I feel more confident heading to Sebring than in St. Pete based on the tests that we have had there in the winter season, and now know exactly what to expect on a race weekend.”

Taking on the 3.74-mile facility, St-Jean is returning to Sebring, a location where he completed several test days prior to the start of the 2023 season.

St-Jean continued, “St. Pete was a bunch of firsts for me. My first event weekend in USF2000, my first street race, and my first-time racing with walls lining the track. Sebring has some familiarities to me as I have been there on a few occasions, so I look forward to returning and for the next challenge.”

With a quick two-day event, St-Jean and the rest of the USF2000 drivers will hit the track Saturday for a single practice session before qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel action that afternoon. A second qualifying session will take place on Sunday morning that will set the grid for race two that afternoon. Stay tuned to the Louka St-Jean Racing social media pages for all the news, photos, and results from the event weekend.
