PALMETTO, FL - For the second consecutive year, a fan-centered contest will choose the host of Road to Indy TV - the Mazda Road to Indy’s exclusive online episodic programming launched by Andersen Promotions in 2014. The 2015 season saw University of Florida student Joel Sebastianelli beat out 26 contestants to become the inaugural host of the online episodes dedicated to the future stars of the Verizon IndyCar Series who are currently competing in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires. Sebastianelli covered the entire Mazda Road to Indy schedule to interview over 50 drivers  and 17 teams within the three series.

“Road to Indy TV is looking for someone who is ready to learn, is passionate about racing and the communications industry, loves to travel and is ready for this once in a lifetime opportunity,” commented JP Manterola, President of Pro Racing Group and creator of Road to Indy TV. “Women and men who are 18 to 25-years-old should apply for this experience which includes a trip to the hallowed grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the month of May - the home of the Indianapolis 500 which will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2016. We can’t wait to meet the newest member of our team!”

Contestants will submit one-minute videos of themselves via Facebook describing why they should be the next face of Road to Indy TV as it springs into its third season of programming. Fans can vote for their favorite contender on the Road to Indy TV Facebook page (search Road to Indy). The top three contestants will be announced on November 9 for final voting while the winner of this year’s contest will officially be welcomed to the team on November 13.

The fan-chosen host will embark on a season-long journey with the Road to Indy TV crew to cover all of the events on the Mazda Road to Indy calendar, which is scheduled to be announced later this week, with all episodes available on the mobile app - available for download on Apple and Android devices, or by heading to RoadToIndy.TV. Fans should stay tuned for contest updates via Twitter - @RoadToIndyTV and Facebook - Road to Indy.
