Liam McNeilly, the 2024 USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire runner-up, has officially signed with Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) to compete in the 2025 USF2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire. McNeilly will pilot the No. 06 Tatuus USF-22 and aims to build on his impressive debut season, with his sights firmly set on the championship title and the $405,050 scholarship to advance to USF Pro 2000 in 2026.
McNeilly’s consistency and drive in the 2024 season solidified his reputation as one of the brightest talents in junior open-wheel racing, with multiple podium finishes and standout performances that caught the attention of the motorsport community. He won the USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire Rookie of the Year title in 2024, and a nomination for one of motorsport’s most esteemed awards.
Jay Howard, Team Owner of Jay Howard Driver Development, expressed his enthusiasm for McNeilly’s return: "Liam did a mega job last year; he dominated USF Juniors and was always the guy everyone was chasing. The 2025 USF2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire kicks off with Spring Training at NOLA Motorsports Park on February 22-23. The official season begins February 28-March 2 on the iconic Streets of St. Petersburg. The schedule includes seven INDYCAR companion events, providing McNeilly the opportunity to race on legendary circuits like Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Road America and the Streets of Toronto among others.
