Ignite Autosport will partner with Cape Motorsports and two of St. Louis’ rising racing talents, to compete in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship, part of the Road to Indy, a driver development program that has helped create several Indy 500 winners and INDYCAR series champions.

Two dramatic virtual races on the Iowa Speedway oval provided a very different storyline for the TireRack.com Road to Indy iRacing eSeries Presented by Cooper Tires as NTT INDYCAR SERIES veteran James Davison, from Melbourne, Australia, and USF2000 aspirant Bryson Morris, from Mount Juliet, Tenn., each claimed a hard-earned victory.

Cape Motorsports has announced the second of four Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship drivers for 2021, signing New York native Michael d’Orlando to contest his second year with the team.

The TireRack.com Road to Indy iRacing eSeries Presented by Cooper Tires will bring the challenges of virtual oval racing to competitors today in a double-header race at Iowa Speedway beginning at 6:45 pm EST. Dubbed The Fastest Short Track on the Planet, the 7/8-mile oval will host the third round of the five-event series.

Michael d'Orlando and Indianapolis-based Cape Motorsports will continue their partnership in the 2021 season, in the Road to Indy's Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship. Building on their success in 2020, in a condensed COVID-affected season, the partnership proved to be successful for d'Orlando's development and showed some impressive results in d'Orlando's first full season of car competition.
