To say that the last two years of Dakota Dickerson’s life have been a crazy ride might be an understatement, as the 20-year-old Californian earned three scholarships in rapid succession that took him from karts to cars. USF2000 rookies Dickerson and Ortiz primed to get back on track

A stacked 24-car field is entered for Rounds Three and Four of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala., headed by the Pabst Racing duo of Jordan Lloyd and Yufeng Luo, who each claimed a win and a second-place finish in the opening two rounds of the 16-race season last month in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Cooper Tires USF2000 Grand Prix of Alabama will feature a pair of races on the scenic 2.3-mile road course.

RJB Motorsports marked its debut in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda with a top-10 finish on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., and is now setting its sights on the next two races which will take place in support of the Verizon IndyCar Series at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala., on April 22-24.
