LOVELAND, Ohio – The USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire gears up for a journey north of the border this weekend for the penultimate event of the 2024 season on the streets of Downtown Toronto. Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) driver Evagoras Papasavvas comes off of a race-winning weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, where he scored his first win of the 2024 season.

Fighting amongst the top four contenders in the drivers’ championship, Evagoras hopes this weekend’s efforts will catapult him into the lead with just one more event weekend left to go in the season finale at the Portland International Raceway. The veteran Jay Howard Driver Development driver is coming off a high after his hometown win in Ohio and hoping to carry that momentum into the final street race of the season.

“It felt good to be on top of the podium again finally,” says Evagoras. “The championship is still on the line. We’ll have to pump out a few more wins to be on top in the end, and I have faith the JHDD crew and the #6 car are capable of that.”

Papasavvas and the rest of the USF2000 field will take to the 1.786-mile, 11-turn street course Friday morning for a practice session, followed by qualifying one. Race one will occur on Saturday after a second qualifying session, and the weekend will wrap up with race two on Sunday morning.
