USF and Indy Pro 2000 drivers set for Wisconsin
As the calendar turns to mid-June, Miller Vinatieri Motorsports will leave its home state of Indiana and head north to Wisconsin. Set to contest this weekend Road to Indy event at the beautiful Elkhart Lake facility, Jack William Miller and Kent Vaccaro will be aiming high as they look to reset their current best results of the season at the 4.014-mile, 14-corner facility.
“We love Road America and can’t wait to get on track later this week,” explained Jack Miller, co-owner of Miller Vinatieri Motorsports. “We have had some success there in the past and are looking to do the same in this year. The track rewards momentum and consistency so that will be the primary goal to ensure we are at the front of the field.”
With a two-car effort, Jack William Miller will lead the way entering the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires. Familiar with Road America, Miller enters the event as a rookie in the program as has his sights on climbing the open wheel ladder and ultimately competing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. Vaccaro, a competitor in the F4 Championship, Trans-Am and several other series, is also a rookie in the Road to Indy but is competing in the first step of the Road to Indy in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship.
Miller continued, “I need to thank all of our Miller Vinatieri Motorsports partners, both new and existing. We have been able to provide some trackside programs for several of them and look to do a lot more in the future. This weekend we will once again host several guests from Patterson Dental showing them a great time at the track without the stress of work. Without our partners, none of this would be possible.”
