Over 40 drivers from all three levels of the highly acclaimed Mazda Road to Indy have converged on Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham, Ala., for the two-day test.

The 21-year-old talent from Wisconsin was presented with a $200,000 MAZDASPEED Scholarship for USF2000 in 2014.

For the first time since the inception of the Mazda Road to Indy as the official development series of INDYCAR in 2010, all races on next season’s calendar will be run in support of the IndyCar Series.

The 2014 Cooper Tires Winterfest will be held over six days and will feature two tripleheader events for USF2000 (six races), two doubleheader events for Pro Mazda (four races) and four days of open testing for Indy Lights.

The 17-year-old Essex racer was confirmed as the Mazda Road To Indy Formula Ford Driver of the Year, earning two test days in USF2000 and Pro Mazda cars at the Chris Griffis Memorial Test.
