A dramatic pair of races today as part of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Grand Prix saw championship contender Jace Denmark (Pabst Racing), from Scottsdale, Ariz., and impressive debutant Mac Clark (DEForce Racing), from Milton, Ont., Canada, claim victories at Portland International Raceway.

Rowe is on the cusp of winning the prestigious Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship, along with a scholarship valued at almost $407,000, to ensure graduation onto the next step, the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, in 2023.

Jay Howard has parlayed a successful racing career of his own into a formidable junior formula racing team but through all his accomplishments, one goal has always been in mind: to see a young driver advance through his in-house program all the way from karting to the top of the ladder: the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

The most recent round of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship will hold a special memory for Thomas Nepveu, as the 17-year-old Canadian finished second – his best result of the season – in a hard-fought battle in his homeland on the streets of Toronto. The race was held in support of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, which returned north of the border after a three-year absence to a massively enthusiastic crowd, and Nepveu’s podium result was a nod to sponsor Evirum, headquartered in Montreal – an hour’s drive from his hometown of Oka.

The 18-year-old remained in control – just – throughout an action-packed 20-lap Cooper Tires Grand Prix of Toronto but there was plenty of drama in his wake following a late full-course caution which set the scene for a one-lap dash to the checkered flag
