Another hard-fought season of Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires open-wheel competition will conclude this weekend, September 20-22, at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, Calif.

Drivers from all over the world will travel to Sebring International Raceway December 10-12, to participate in three days of on-and-off track professional training in the Lucas Oil Ray BR-RSC Formula Cars.

All three levels of the ladder system – Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires, the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship – will compete at prominent venues throughout North America and Canada with all events in support of the NTT IndyCar Series, offering scholarships and awards valued at over $2.7 million.

Hunter McElrea and Pabst Racing enjoyed a stellar weekend at Portland International Raceway by sweeping both 25-lap races which comprised the Cooper Tires USF2000 Grand Prix Presented by Allied Building Products for Pabst Racing

The battle for this year’s Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship tightened to just a single point, 285-284, as Hunter McElrea claimed a comfortable victory this afternoon at Portland International Raceway
