Orlando, Fla. – Rising American open-wheel talent Spencer Pigot is pleased to announce a new partnership with E-merging Technologies Group as he embarks on his second season of competition in the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda. E-merging Technologies Group is an Ohio-based security services firm with additional offices in the Washington, D.C., area and Chicago.
“Our first meeting with Spencer was at the IZOD IndyCar Series event at Baltimore and we were impressed not only with Spencer but the dynamic business environment that INDYCAR represents,” said E-merging Technologies Group Senior Vice President Dr. Charles Painter. “We are looking forward to becoming part of the community and building valuable relationships while also enjoying success on the track.”
Pigot, 18, from Orlando, Fla., finished second in the 2011 USF2000 National Championship and has his eyes set firmly on securing the 2012 crown – and with it a scholarship to contest the 2013 Star Mazda Championship, the next step on the MAZDA Road to Indy ladder – after recently concluding a deal to drive for the 2011 championship-winning team, Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing.
“I am very excited about my prospects for the 2012 season and can hardly wait to get started,” said Pigot. “I would like to thank Charlie Painter and Jeremy Samide for the opportunity to represent ETG. I’m looking forward to creating business relationships for the company and meeting their employees and clients at the track in 2012. Hopefully, we will be celebrating a few wins together!”
