As is now typical for the Mazda Road to Indy, the end of May means only one thing - Indianapolis 500 fever, and Team Pelfrey’s Pro Mazda and USF2000 outfits were in full #PelfreyPower mode for the Carb Night Classic at Lucas Oil Raceway. The Friday night show played host to the Freedom 90 Pro Mazda Presented by Cooper Tires race and Freedom 75 USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda race.

While the journey from race shop to race track was short, the journey from start to finish was a little longer at the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda Freedom 75 at Lucas Oil Raceway.

15-year-old Cane will finish the season with the multiple-championship winners.

ArmsUp Motorsports secured another podium at the Carb Night Classic Freedom 75, round 7 of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda. The 75-lap race took place in Brownsburg, Indiana on the .686-mile, semi-banked pavement oval at Lucas Oil Raceway Park just six miles west of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 will take place on Sunday.

John Cummiskey Racing's shop is just five miles away from Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis and today marks the team's only oval race of the 2016 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda season.
