Coming off the heels of winning his first USF2000 Cooper Tires Winterfest Championship, teen racer Zach Veach will make his first appearance on a national morning news program Wednesday when he is set to appear on NBC’s flagship news program, The Today Show.

INDIANAPOLIS (February 28, 2011) – Zach Veach, driver of the #7 ZAKOSI Data Backup USF2000 Mazda for Andretti Autosport, will release his first book, 99 THINGS TEENS WISH THEY KNEW BEFORE TURNING 16, with the help of journalist Lindsey Gobel on March 2. Three times Victorian Formula Ford Champ, Luke Ellery has confirmed today he has signed with JDC Motorsports for an attack on the 2011 USF2000 National Championship. The young Australian made his American Debut with the team last season at Road Atlanta, and experienced huge success straight off the bat.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing announced today it has signed 21-year-old USAC product Shannon McIntosh to drive in the 2011 Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda. McIntosh will pilot the No. 2 Mazda for the 12 USF2000 race events.

In 2011, race fans will have an opportunity to see an open wheel car from the Stevenson team charging to the front as the team is about to enter the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda series for 2011.
