D’Orlando captures a win in the Saturday doubleheader to maintain his championship advantage

It was a very satisfying event at the prestigious Road America track in Elkhart Lake. Thomas Nepveu claimed a top-five and a third-place finish in the two Saturday Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship races.

This weekend at Road America marked the start of the second half of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship 2022 season. Despite not having claimed a podium finish at the Grand Prix of Road America doubleheader weekend, Christian Weir was the talk of the paddock solely for his on track performance, more specifically his ability to overtake, having made 15 total passes in both races this weekend.

RD Racing continues to turn heads in North American motorsports, and this weekend will be on track in Elkhart Lake, Wis., as the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship takes to the 4.014-mile, 14-turn Road America venue as part of the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires.

It will be a busy month for Thomas Nepveu as he prepares to compete in the fifth round of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship at Road America this weekend. Afterwards, he will head to the annual Breakfast Club of Canada Golf Tournament to represent the organization as an ambassador.
