PALMETTO, Fla. – The TireRack.com Road to Indy iRacing eSeries Presented by Cooper Tires will head to Road America this evening for a pair of 20-minute virtual races at the popular 4.014-mile road course. A field of 16 Road to Indy competitors with be joined by 11 Prospects who earned the opportunity to compete based on their finishes at Barber Motorsports Park last week.
Road to Indy Prospects are drivers who currently compete in karting and junior formula series including the new USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires.
This is the final round of the eSeries before the All-Star Invitational slated for March 2 at World Wide Technology Raceway. Based on the point standings from two prior rounds, five Prospects will advance to the Invitational led by Prospects “champion” Alessandro de Tullio as well as Mac Clark, Lucas Mann, Noah Ping and Konnor Gutting.
The last combined outing held at Indianapolis Raceway Park saw Josh Green and de Tullio score wins in the oval showdown. To date, de Tullio has taken three victories and Clark two.
Tonight’s action will begin at 7:00 pm EST.
