PALMETTO, Fla. – The TireRack.com Road to Indy iRacing eSeries Presented by Cooper Tires begins its five-round schedule this evening with competitors set to challenge in a double-header event at virtual Virginia International Raceway.
The grid will be comprised of 18 drivers deemed Road to Indy Prospects, who currently compete in karting and junior formula series including the new USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires. All will be vying for an opportunity to advance to Round Two and battle with current Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires drivers at Indianapolis Raceway Park on January 19. Only the top-10 drivers in the point standings at the conclusion of this evening will advance.
Drivers who do not make the cut will be given a second chance on February 2 in another all Road to Indy Prospects race at Barber Motorsports Park.

A pre-race show will begin at 6:45 pm EST with the virtual green flag for the first of two 20-minute races starting at 7:00 pm.
