Indianapolis, Ind. – After an impressive run in the 2021 Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, Yeoroo Lee will join Jay Howard Driver Development for the 2022 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship season.

Combining improved race craft with off-season preparation for the upcoming year, Lee will surely be a strong competitor among the Road to Indy field in 2022.

“I am very excited to be a part of Jay's program for the 2022 season, and I am so happy with the off-season progress I have made so far with this team,” said Lee. “I feel like I am learning something new every time I get out of the car. Taking it session by session and maximizing my time to its optimal potential is my mindset right now. I intend to be a competitor all season long!”

Team owner, Jay Howard, shares equal excitement with the new addition to his talented driver development team. His sights are set on getting Lee prepared and comfortable for the upcoming season.

“We are happy to sign Yeoroo for the 2022 season and working with him and Timmy from Pagliuso Sports has been great,” explained Jay Howard. “Yeoroo is working closely with Timmy and the entire team to make sure he is fully prepared for the start of the season. I look forward to seeing Yeoroo hit the track at St. Pete for the first race of the year.”
