Holden will join David Malukas in the BN Racing program

After a successful test last week at the Autobahn Country Club, Indiana's Zach Holden is set to make his Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda series debut at the 3.37 mile, 11-turn, Watkins Glen International facility in Watkins Glen, New York. Joining the newly formed, and so far impressive, BN Racing program and teamed with David Malukas, Holden looks to use the event to gain experience and as a possible springboard into the 2018 season.

"Zach had a very good test last week and I was very pleased with his speed and progress," explained the Team Manager of BN Racing. "Right out of the gate he performed better than I expected and then with a little coaching and making him comfortable in the car, he adapted and progressed even more."

A multi-time karting champion and current United States F1600 Series frontrunner, Holden has been flirting with the ladder of progression for the past few seasons. Showing speed in every piece of equipment he gets a chance to drive, BN Racing personnel are hoping for the same in their Tatuus USF-17.

BN Racing's Team Manager continued, "With David's (Malukas) recent huge improvements and now being a consistent frontrunner, I think Zach will have the perfect teammate for his USF2000 debut. We are very happy to finish the season with two strong drivers as we have very big plans for 2018 and beyond."

Set to take to the Watkins Glen International facility on Friday, September 1, Malukas and Holden will look to get on pace during the two 30-minute practice sessions. Saturday, September 2 will provide drivers one 30-minute qualifying session in the morning before a thirty-minute timed race during the afternoon. As part of the Mazda Road to Indy, the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda is a support program to the Verizon IndyCar Series.

BN Racing would like to thank their sponsors HMD Trucking, Leahy Wolf/Petro Canada, Bell Helmets and Freem UK.
