Zoey Edenholm to Compete at Chris Griffis Memorial Test

Most young kart racers have the dream of climbing the motorsports ladder and for Zoey Edenholm, a young female driver from Arizona, she has goals to do just that. Confirming her participation in the upcoming Mazda Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires Chris Griffis Memorial Test October 21 and 22 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Futura Trailers, MP Environmental Services, EMG Motorsport, Auction Capital backed driver has her eyes set on a complete 2018 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda season as the karting champion makes the jump from karts to cars.

"It has been a long time coming and I am finally able to say that I will be making the transition to cars," explained Edenholm from her home in Scottsdale, Arizona. "I have a great group of knowledgeable people behind as well as some great marketing partners that I will look to build a relationship with in the years to come."

At 16 years of age, Edenholm is committed to join the Mazda Road to Indy program and make a name for herself. Focused on the top and determined to succeed, Edenholm has begun to work with a management program for the purpose of marketing and promotion as well as get all the necessary platforms in place to work with her already established partners.

"I have had the opportunity to work with Zoey in karting for the past two seasons and have seen her grow as a person and a racer," explained RTD Media and Management's Mike Maurini. "The team that Zoey has behind her has some very cool and unique programs in the works that will be beneficial for all involved with her and her career advancement."

"I have always been impressed by Zoey and her on track competitiveness in karting, and I have no doubt that it will transition to cars," explained Bryn Nuttall, Team Manager of BN Racing, whom Zoey will join for the upcoming October test. "She is a young and marketable female in a male dominated sport and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with her as we test the waters to see what can be done for 2018."

"It will be a big step for me and I have goals in place," continued Edenholm. "This is something that I want to do, and I want to be successful in motorsports. I am determined to learn as much as I can when I hit the track and continue that learning progress through 2018. From there, we will see what the future holds but ultimately, my goal is the Verizon IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500."

With the new program comes a new focus for Zoey Edenholm. Some very exciting programs are in the works and will be announced in the near future along with a new website and completely revamped social media program. Stay tuned for future announcements.
