Young racing legacy impresses in his first Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires event

A stellar line up of 44 drivers did not disappoint as 12 different competitors topped the time sheets over the course of 18 sessions held during the annual Chris Griffis Memorial Open Test on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

The annual Chris Griffis Memorial Test is back October 30-31, 2021 after a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and TJ Thompson will be making his second Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship appearance at the event.

After crowning its 2021 champions earlier this month, the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires will be back in action this week for its traditional Chris Griffis Memorial Open Test at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway on October 30/31.

Legacy Autosport today announced that Viktor Andersson will pilot the team’s #20 USF2000 entry in this weekend’s Chris Griffis Memorial Open Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
