Finland’s Petri Suvanto extended his lead in the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda by virtue of a fine victory under the lights on Saturday night as part of the traditional “Night Before the 500" at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis.

The hotly contested Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda returns to action after a two-month hiatus on Saturday, May 28, as part of the traditional "Night Before the 500" extravaganza at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Ind.

Five graduates of the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda will be among the starting field for this year’s Centennial Indianapolis 500 which will take the green flag at 12:00 EDT next Sunday, May 29, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Mazda Road to Indy program is center stage during Centennial Indianapolis 500 activities, with a prominent display in the fan-centered Pagoda Plaza.

The Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda has contracted with RACER magazine, the highly-regarded motorsports monthly, to highlight its drivers through a new advertising campaign.
