John Cummiskey Racing traveled to the 2.3-mile, 17-turn Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Ala. for Rounds 3 and 4 of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda series season.

Parker Thompson led the Exclusive Autosport challenge at Barber Motorsports Park, emerging with a podium finish in Race 2 to move up to fourth place in the championship points table.

Sowery and Keane improve each session to put Team BENIK in the front half of the field

Having won the last six Driver and Team Championships in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, Cape Motorsports is off to a strong start in the chase for a seventh straight title. Team driver Oliver Askew dominated the action this past weekend on the 2.3-mile Barber Motorsports Park layout, piloting his ‘Soul Red’ Mazda Driver Scholarship USF-17 to wins in both ends of the doubleheader.

No matter how much you study, you never know if it was enough until you actually take the test. For young Darren Keane, this weekend provided his first taste of Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda action, and it is fair to say that the youngster passed the test with flying colors.
