Cape Motorsports has won five of the first six races in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda with their talented rookie driver Oliver Askew sweeping this past weekend’s event on the road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to extend the streak.

Team Pelfrey, with drivers Robert Megennis, Kaylen Frederick and Ayla Agren, rang in the month of May with Frederick leading the team to a Race Two podium finish at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

The Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda staged Rounds 5 & 6 of the year at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over the weekend as part of the Verizon IndyCar Series’ Grand Prix of Indianapolis weekend. The event kicks off the classic ‘Month of May’ as the motorsport world revs up for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 in two weeks.

Today’s Round 6 of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, the USF2000 Grand Prix of Indianapolis Presented by Royal Purple Supporting the Lupus Foundation, saw a tough break for Newman Wachs Racing. The day started off well with the updated official results from yesterday’s race moving Dakota Dickerson up one position (to fourth), due to two cars being disqualified after the race last night.

Kris Wright of Wexford, Pa., didn't quite have the results he'd hoped for in the doubleheader staged by the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda series Friday and Saturday on the road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
